Who we are

BuildBrief is the weekly newsletter from BuildWithAI, written by Kristoffer. Questions about your data go to kristoffer@buildwithai.io.

What we collect

Only the email address you type into the signup form on buildbrief.io (or buildwithai.io), the date you signed up, and where you came from when the link you clicked says so (for example utm_source=youtube).

When we send an issue, our email software records basic delivery events (delivered, bounced, opened, clicked, unsubscribed) so we can keep the list healthy.

How we use it

To send you BuildBrief, one email a week about building apps with AI. Now and then an issue mentions a BuildWithAI template, video or community offer.

Right after you join, Kristoffer also sends a few short personal emails to say hello and ask what you are building. They stop as soon as you reply, and each one has its own unsubscribe link.

We never sell, rent or share your email address with anyone for their own marketing.

Unsubscribing

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and Gmail/Yahoo show a one-click unsubscribe button. Either one removes you right away, and you will get no more issues.

Addresses that hard-bounce or mark an email as spam are removed automatically.

Where your data lives

Subscriber data is stored in our own Listmonk installation on a server in the EU (Hetzner, Germany/Finland). Emails are delivered through Amazon SES (EU, Stockholm region).

Your signup is also saved in the BuildWithAI database (hosted by Supabase), which sends the personal hello emails from Kristoffer's Google Workspace inbox.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or full deletion at any time by emailing kristoffer@buildwithai.io. We answer within 30 days, usually much faster.
